The World Predator Classic has quickly become a prestigious and highly contested competition on the sports fishing calendar. The 2020 WPC will be taking place this year in June, a host of elite anglers will re-unite in this epic tournament; the teams will need to be at the top of their game to secure the podium and some amazing prizes. Lowrance® have two teams entering to battle it out for the top spots, with many years of experience between them they will be tough to beat.

Meet the Team...

Boat 1

Jeremy Staverman: As two time WPC winner (2014 and 2015), two time PredatorTour winner (2015 and 2016) and two time Dutch Zander Champion (2013 and 2014), Jeremy is a very experienced competition angler. His main targets are pike, perch and zander. PB zander is 101cm, perch 52cm and pike 131cm. Hunting specimen predator fish is very important but his biggest challenge is adapting to the circumstances and keep evolving in order to be able to hold the trophy again.

Jelle De Long: Jelle lived by the sea in Holland and has fished with his brothers since he was a child. Now his speciality is hunting down big pikes, out every week in his aluminium fishing boat. He has been preparing for WPC and is ready to smash some PB’s!

Boat 2

Pierre Johnen: “I have been at the water since I was a child. I've always focused on specialized target fishing. By participating in the NKS (DutchZanderMaster) I quickly got the taste of competition fishing, which has shaped my approach to the water in recent years. These experiences are not only an advantage in a competition, but also make it possible to react to the many different conditions on the water and to successfully organize the day of fishing.”

Patrick Wischermann: “After finishing my first competition year with 2nd place in WPC Team Event, 5th place at the Luremasters and 3rd place at HondaMarineCup I am ready to step the game up. New year, new conditions, new Champions!”
