New Easy Mode Means Faster Maps. With unlimited maps you get unlimited ease of operation and unlimited detail control. In a hurry? MapCreate™ 6.2 offers a fast new easy mode we call MapSelect™. Now it's as simple as "point, click and save" to grab a predefined high-detail map and load it on your GPS unit's flash memory card.

Manage GPS Data. MapCreate™ software lets you make routes for your GPS to follow, and you can also mark places with event icons or waypoints to navigate to. You can also import, edit and archive routes, trails and waypoints created in the field by your GPS unit. MapCreate™ can even exchange routes and waypoints with other mapping programs.

It's In the Cards. MapCreate™ 6.2 software is compatible with all Lowrance GPS units using ultra-small, rewritable MultiMedia Card (MMC) or Secure Digital (SD) memory cards. These postage stamp-sized memory cards are used for map storage and transfer. Sizes range from 8 MB to 512 MB and are available from several manufacturers.

Any Size, Any Shape. Need to manage map file size to fit your MMC card? The MapCreate™ mapping software's advanced mode lets you create custom maps to exacting proportions. With its unique click and drag "cookie cutter" map border feature, you can carve out detailed charts with specific map boundaries of your choosing. You control the shape, you control the size. This lets you fit as much map as possible on your memory cards, especially important for longer journeys.

Map Detail Control. Care to control how much geographic detail is included in your map? In addition to mapping just the area you want, the MapCreate™ software also helps manage file size by letting you turn off or on hundreds of display features, such as railroads, rural roads, landmarks, etc.

Details, Details. MapCreate™ 6.2 includes the 48 contiguous U.S. states and Hawaii on two CDs. The MapCreate™ database provides superb detail that covers:

MapCreate™ 6.2 CDs are compatible with the following Lowrance GPS or sonar/GPS combo units: LCX-104C, LCX-19C, LCX-18C, LCX-16 series, LCX-15 series, LMS-320 series, LMS-240, GlobalMap® 7000C, GlobalMap® 6000C, GlobalMap® 5000C, GlobalMap® 4000M, GlobalMap® 3200, GlobalMap® 3000MT, GlobalMap® 2400, and iFINDER® series. NOTE: The LCX-16CI, LCX-15 CI/CT, LCX-15MT and GlobalMap® 3000MT must be running software version 2.2.0 or higher in order to use MapCreate™ 6.2 maps.
