Both LCX and GlobalMap units offer HD models featuring a rugged 30GB built-in hard-drive loaded with a wealth of mapping and charts for coastal and inland GPS navigation. Non-hard-drive units included NAND-FLASH memory with a built-in background map featuring over 3,000 U.S. inland lakes with depth contours. All have two waterproof slots to display affordable, high-detail mapping and charts options on plug-and-play MMC/SD cards. Supported charts include FreedomMaps
TM, Fishing Hot Spots®, LakeMaster® and NauticPathTM. Navionics® electronic charts on MMC/SD cards are also compatible.
The new 2007 Lowrance 8.4-inch line up includes the LCX-38C HD, LCX-37C (non-hard-drive), GlobalMap 8300C HD and GlobalMap 8200C (non-hard-drive).
