A breakthrough in mapping technology in the early 1990's!  The GlobalMap 1000 was one of the first products with a built-in map.  Interfaced with other GPS, Loran-C, and Decca positioning systems outputting NMEA 0183.  Also, worked with DGPS devices to improve accuracy.
